PBAT Door 2 Door Movement Stages Unity Walk to Mark Nigeria's 65th Independence
The PBAT Door 2 Door Movement will tomorrow stage a solidarity walk in Abuja to celebrate Nigeria's 65th Independence Anniversary and drum support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration.
The walk, scheduled to kick off at Unity Fountain starting from 8am prompt and terminating at Eagle Square, will bring together well-meaning Nigerians who believe in the country's unity and progress.
The National Coordinator of the Movement, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, announced this in Abuja on Tuesday, stating that the event aims to mobilize support for good governance and the continuity of President Tinubu's service to the nation.
Asuku said the Independence Day walk would showcase citizens' appreciation for the administration's efforts in addressing national challenges and driving development across critical sectors.
"This walk is a demonstration of our unshakable support for Mr President's vision for a prosperous Nigeria. We are mobilizing Nigerians who believe in the unity and progress of our dear country," he stated.
The Movement, operating under the Grand Patronage of High Chief (Dr) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, widely known as Tompolo, has been mobilizing grassroots support for the Tinubu administration across the country.
Asuku urged Nigerians to join the walk in large numbers, emphasizing that the nation's 65th Independence Anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on achievements and recommit to national development.
"We are calling on all patriots who believe in Nigeria's greatness to join us tomorrow as we march for unity, progress, and good governance," he added.
The coordinator assured participants of adequate security and a peaceful procession throughout the route.
