Hon. Akeem Amosun Felicitates Ogun Deputy Governor, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, at 60
Honourable Akeem Amosun, Commissioner representing Ogun State at the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), has congratulated the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, on the occasion of her 60th birthday, celebrated today, Thursday, January 8, 2026.
In a congratulatory message made available to the press, Hon. Amosun described the Deputy Governor as an accomplished engineer, seasoned administrator and an exemplary public servant whose life and career have been marked by dedication, integrity and service to humanity.
He noted that Engr. Salako-Oyedele’s 60th anniversary is not only a personal milestone but also a moment of pride for Ogun State, especially for women and young professionals who look up to her as a role model.
“Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele has distinguished herself through decades of professional excellence and selfless service. From her impactful career in the private sector to her remarkable contributions in public office as Deputy Governor of Ogun State, she has consistently demonstrated competence, humility and a deep commitment to development,” Hon. Amosun said.
According to him, the Deputy Governor’s tenure has been instrumental in advancing inclusive governance, social development and infrastructural growth across the state, particularly in areas affecting women, children and the vulnerable.
Hon. Amosun further commended her calm leadership style, technical expertise and collaborative approach to governance, which he said have complemented the vision of the Ogun State Government and strengthened the delivery of dividends of democracy to the people.
“As she marks her diamond jubilee, we celebrate a life of impact, purpose and service. Her achievements continue to inspire confidence in leadership built on knowledge, professionalism and empathy,” he added.
He prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health and greater accomplishments for the Deputy Governor in the years ahead, wishing her many more fulfilling years of service to Ogun State and Nigeria at large.
Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Nigeria’s first female mechanical engineer to become a Deputy Governor, has been widely celebrated by political leaders, professionals and citizens across the state as she marks the landmark age of 60.
