OMO-ADE Lauds Gov. Abiodun Over Renewed Security Push in Ogun State

An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Ogun State, Alhaji Yisa Ismaila Adebayo, popularly known as OMO-ADE, has commended the Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his proactive steps to further strengthen the security architecture of the state.

Alhaji Adebayo gave the commendation while reacting to the governor’s recent meeting with security chiefs across the state, aimed at reviewing the prevailing security situation and mapping out strategies to safeguard lives and property as the new year unfolds.

According to OMO-ADE, the governor’s decision to personally engage security agencies demonstrates strong leadership, foresight, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of Ogun residents.

“Security remains the backbone of development. Governor Dapo Abiodun has once again shown that the safety of Ogun people is a top priority of his administration. His hands-on approach to security matters is reassuring and commendable,” he said.

During the high-level security meeting, Governor Abiodun received detailed briefings from heads of security agencies on current security realities, emerging threats, and ongoing operations across different parts of the state. The discussions centered on enhancing intelligence gathering, strengthening inter-agency collaboration, and ensuring prompt and effective responses to any security challenges.

The governor emphasized the need for synergy among security agencies, noting that collaboration and timely information sharing are critical to preventing crime and maintaining peace. He also reassured the security chiefs of his administration’s continued support, both logistically and morally, to enable them carry out their constitutional responsibilities effectively.

Governor Abiodun reaffirmed that his government would not relent in its efforts to keep Ogun State safe, stable, and attractive for residents, investors, and visitors alike. He stressed that a secure environment remains fundamental to economic growth, social stability, and sustainable development.

Alhaji Adebayo further urged residents to support the government by cooperating with security agencies and providing timely information that could help prevent crime.

As Ogun State enters the new year, stakeholders say the renewed focus on security reflects the administration’s resolve to build a peaceful and prosperous state for all.
