PCC, Ogun TESCOM Strengthen Ties to Deepen Administrative Justice
The Ogun State Office of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) on Monday, 2 February 2026, paid a scheduled courtesy visit to the Ogun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) at its headquarters in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, as part of efforts to strengthen inter-agency collaboration and promote effective public service delivery.
The PCC delegation was led by the Honourable Federal Commissioner, Hon. Morakinyo OgoOluwa Akinleye, alongside the State Director, Mrs. Omotayo A. A., and other members of the Commission’s management team.
They were warmly received by the Chairman of the Teaching Service Commission, Apostle Abiodun Sanyaolu, the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Osibodu Akintomiwa, and senior members of TESCOM management.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Akinleye expressed deep appreciation to the TESCOM leadership for the cordial reception accorded his team. He stressed the need for a strong and mutually beneficial synergy between the two agencies, noting that collaboration is essential for enhancing accountability and improving service delivery across the public sector.
The Honourable Federal Commissioner reiterated the constitutional mandate of the Public Complaints Commission as Nigeria’s ombudsman institution, charged with investigating complaints from members of the public against government agencies and officials. He explained that the PCC plays a critical role in promoting administrative justice, fairness, and transparency in governance.
Hon. Akinleye further shared selected case studies of complaints received and successfully resolved by the Commission in Ogun State, highlighting the PCC’s commitment to ensuring redress for aggrieved citizens while fostering trust in public institutions.
In his response, the Chairman of the Teaching Service Commission, Apostle Abiodun Sanyaolu, commended the Honourable Federal Commissioner and his team for the visit and lauded the PCC for its efforts in safeguarding citizens’ rights. He expressed optimism that the engagement would pave the way for a productive working relationship between TESCOM and the Public Complaints Commission.
According to him, such collaboration would contribute significantly to resolving grievances within the education sector and strengthening confidence in public administration.
The visit ended on a cordial note, with group photographs taken by both delegations to commemorate what was described as a fruitful and forward-looking engagement.
