Hon. Igbalaye Wasiu Ayodele (IWA) Celebrates Chief Sunday Sowunmi, Ogun Central APC Senatorial Chairman, on His Birthday

Abeokuta, Ogun State — The member representing Abeokuta South Constituency II in the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Igbalaye Wasiu Ayodele (IWA), has extended warm felicitations to Chief Sunday Sowunmi, the Senatorial Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun Central, as he marks his birthday today, Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

In his congratulatory message, Hon. Igbalaye described Chief Sowunmi as “a visionary leader, a unifying force, and a dedicated party stalwart whose steadfast commitment to the progressive ideals of the APC continues to inspire many.”

“Chief Sunday Sowunmi has proven over the years to be a loyal and disciplined party leader who upholds the values of unity, service, and integrity. His leadership in Ogun Central has brought harmony, direction, and renewed strength to our great party,” Hon. Igbalaye stated.

He further praised Chief Sowunmi for his contributions to grassroots development and his unwavering support for the APC administration in Ogun State under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun, CON.

“As our Senatorial Chairman, Chief Sowunmi has consistently worked for the growth and stability of the APC in the state. His wisdom, humility, and political experience have played vital roles in sustaining peace and inclusiveness within the party,” he added.

Hon. Igbalaye commended Chief Sowunmi’s leadership qualities, describing him as “a mentor to many, a bridge-builder, and a man whose dedication to service continues to leave a lasting impact on Ogun politics.”

He also prayed for God’s continued grace upon the celebrant, wishing him good health, long life, and greater achievements in the years ahead.
