Central Coordinate Movement (CCM) Unveils Alhaji Sulaimon Omidina as President, Aina Abayomi as Board Chairman

The Central Coordinate Movement (CCM), a vibrant socio-political organization, has officially unveiled Alhaji Sulaimon Omidina, popularly known in business circles as SLAB Oil and Gas, as its new President, alongside Mr.  Aina Abayomi Oluwaseun as the Board Chairman. The momentous announcement was made during the group’s weekly meeting held at Nawarudeen, Abeokuta City, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

The meeting, which drew a large turnout of state and local government executives, was presided over by the CCM Chairman, Taiwo Elewide, fondly called Big Champion Akile Egbaland. In his address, Elewide formally introduced the local government chairmen, their executives, and state officers to the newly inaugurated leaders. He praised their commitment to the group’s vision of unity, coordination, and social progress across Ogun State and beyond.

Addressing members after his unveiling, Alhaji Sulaimon Omidina expressed deep appreciation for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to uphold the principles that have sustained CCM over the years. He emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and coordination, urging members to continue working harmoniously to achieve the movement’s collective goals.

“Let us remain one family with a common purpose. Our strength lies in our unity and discipline,” he said. “I commend the state executives and grassroots leaders for their resilience and steadfastness through challenging times. Together, we will move CCM to greater heights.”

The event also featured interactive sessions, during which local government representatives reaffirmed their commitment to the new leadership and expressed optimism about the future direction of the movement under Alhaji Omidina and Mr. Yomi.

The unveiling marked a significant milestone in the evolution of the Central Coordinate Movement, setting the stage for renewed vigor and strategic coordination in its socio-political engagements across the state.
