BREAKING NEWS: Hon. Rotimi Makinde Gets New Appointment

 

In a surprising turn of events, Hon. Rotimi Makinde, a prominent figure from Ile-Ife, Osun State, and former member of the House of Representatives, has been appointed Chairman of the Governing Council of Waziri Ibrahim Polytechnic in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State. This appointment comes on the heels of controversy surrounding his alleged removal as a member of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State.

Makinde, a grassroots politician and die-hard progressive frontliner of the South West Agenda,one of the allies of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy,Alh Gboyega Oyetola is expected to leverage his wealth of knowledge and experience to drive progress at Waziri Ibrahim Polytechnic. Notably, Makinde has a personal connection to the institution, having graduated from the same school, where he also served as the first non-indigene student union president .
