Ogunmakin Stool: Council of Baales Under Ikereku Denies Radio Publication, Restates Commitment to Osile's Candidacy



.... Declares support for Chief Busari Ayinde Adenshile as the next Olu of Ogunmakin Kingdom

The council of Baale under Ikereku, Obafemi-Owode Local Government of Ogun state has denied their involvement in the radio publication downgrading the authority of Oba Adedapo Tejuosho, The Osile of Oke-Ona over the choice of the next Olu of Ogunmakin Kingdom yesterday 6th of June, 2024. 



The council of chiefs during their meeting declared their unalloyed support for Chief Busari Ayinde Adenshile as the next Olu of Ogunmakin Kingdom, saying they are in support of progressive Ogunmakin under a worthy leadership. 



Our correspondent when visited the council of Baales during their monthly meeting at Debonre village, Chief Sufiana Ariyo Sobowale, who was addressed as the head of the 52 Baales under Ikereku, Obafemi-Owode Local Government talked on behalf of other Baales Amebo Newspapers NG learnt.


"None of our Baale went to Governor's Office, Chieftancy Affairs office in Oke-Mosan to protest against the decision of His Royal Majesty Oba Adedapo Tejuosho, Osile of Oke-Ona, Egba... We are solidly behind the selection of the Ikereku Traditional Council on who becomes the next Olu of Ogunmakin. "said the Baales under the Ikereku Traditional Council.


The Baale who were on sit during our visitation includes, Alapako Oni, Alapako Oke-Odo, Oyebola, Debonre, Ogunmakin Abule, Ogunmakin Oja, Seriki Sotayo, Akindele, Arabaa, Sanraa, Laraba, Degbee, Imolisa, Sanra, Sotio (Ijana Alapako), Liyide, Bere Ola, Liye, Adeniyi, Derupatan, Layonran, Owojo, Olosun-Abudu, Olosun-Adegbesan, Olosun Monmo, Olubori, Mosafejo, Olorunsogo, Balagada, Soobu, Leragun, Fadipe, Bankole, Arabaa, Baaye, Olorunda, Showunmi, Baaye among others, they all said they are behind His Royal Majesty Oba Adedapo Tejuosho's decision on whoever becomes the next Olu of Ogunmakin Kingdom.



While speaking with the Apena of Ikereku, High Chief Oluwaranti Shodehinde on the state of the chieftancy and mode of selection of the next Olu of Ogunmakin Kingdom he said;


"As the Apena of Ikereku land our duty is to see to the succession of new Olu of Ogunmakin after the late king, His Royal Majesty Oba Adedapo Tejuosho The Osile of Oke-Ona Egba has mandated us to work on the candidates who are keenly interested in mounting the throne of Olu of Ogunmakin Kingdom and we have keenly screened them alongside the Oluwo and we have submitted the most qualified among the candidates to the Osile of Oke-Ona Egba awaiting the further necessary actions" Said Chief Oluwaranti Shodehinde 


Meanwhile, Our investigation revealed one Olusoji Sotomi popularly know as Baba Elelede alongside others who are residents and Chiefs of late Olu of Ogunmakin were behind the crises emanating in the Ogunmakin village in their efforts to discourage the crown prince to ascend the throne of his forefathers. 


In all obviousness, Ogunmakin Kingdom under the leadership of Chief Busari Ayinde Adenshile is going develop beyond measures due to his experience, exposure and educational backgrounds, he has unlimited connections across the world which will drive economic transformation to Ogunmakin Kingdom if allowed to ascend the throne of his forefathers.
