VGN wins big at Nigeria Wushu—Kungfu Federation (NWKF) in Abuja, goes home with 5 Gold, 8 Silver, 4 Bronze
The Vigilante Group of Nigeria has won the total number of 17 awards at the just concluded Open Wushu Kung-Fu traditional and sporting Taolu Championship in Abuja.
The ever resilient officers of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria, VGN was able to accost 5 Gold, 8 Silver, 4 Bronze at the conclusion of the games.
According to Ebosele Micheal, VGN Director of Sports, National Command, he said the security group is ready to compete with other sister's agency in the forthcoming 2ND CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF NATIONAL OPEN SENIOR KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP in FCT-ABUJA. Which will start on 8TH – 10TH JUNE, 2023 and other competitions around the world with their trained personnel on Kung-Fu Taola skills, Karate, Kungfu, Ball games, Racket games, swimming among others.
While commending the team, Retrd. Navy Captain Umar Bakori, The Commandant General of Vigilante Group of Nigeria, VGN urged the newly inaugurated president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to support the Vigilante Group of Nigeria by ascent to their bill and granting maximum support for the security outfit to collaborate with sisters agency in fighting crimes and criminalities across the country.
He said the Vigilante Group of Nigeria, VGN is opened to collaboration with other sister's agencies, private companies and sport agencies to secure and protect life and properties of Nigerians.
