OMO-ADE Urges APC Members, New Entrants to Embrace E-Registration in Ogun

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State, Alhaji Yisa Ismaila Adebayo, popularly known as OMO-ADE, has called on existing party members and prospective entrants to actively participate in the party’s ongoing electronic membership registration (e-registration) exercise, describing it as vital to strengthening internal democracy and grassroots mobilisation.

In a statement made available to the press on Friday, OMO-ADE said the introduction of e-registration underscores the APC’s commitment to modernisation, transparency and inclusiveness in party administration. He noted that the exercise would ensure that all genuine members are properly documented and fully integrated into party affairs.

According to him, accurate and comprehensive membership data remains the backbone of any credible political organisation, adding that the e-registration process would help position the APC for more effective planning, consultation and participation ahead of future political activities and elections.

The APC stalwart expressed satisfaction with the successful take-off of the Train-the-Agents programme in the Ogun North Senatorial District, describing it as a strong indication of the party’s preparedness and seriousness.

“The level of commitment and enthusiasm shown by party agents and stakeholders so far clearly demonstrates that the APC is determined to carry every member along as this exercise expands to other senatorial districts,” he said.

OMO-ADE urged all APC members in the state—both old and new—to take the e-registration exercise seriously, stressing that proper registration guarantees recognition, relevance and active participation in party decision-making processes.

He also extended an open invitation to non-members who share the progressive ideals of the APC to seize the opportunity to formally join the party, describing the APC as a platform built on unity, growth and selfless service to the people.

While appealing for cooperation, OMO-ADE advised members to work closely with designated registration agents, strictly adhere to laid-down guidelines and ensure that their personal details are accurately captured to avoid future complications.

He concluded by emphasizing that sustained participation, discipline and unity among members remain critical to building a stronger APC capable of truly representing the aspirations of Ogun State and Nigeria at large.
