My quest to reconcile Aregbesola, Oyetola almost cause my life - - - Makinde

The Former member of House of Representatives, Rotimi Makinde yesterday disclosed all efforts to reconcile Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and his predecessor, Ogbeni Rauf aregbesola almost ruin his life.
He spoke with reporters shortly after he declared his intention to run for federal House of Representatives under the platform of All Progressives Congress APC in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
His words " I tried my best to settle the disagreement between the former Governor Aregbesola, now minister of Interior and his successor, Governor Oyetola. I tied and moved round the country.
" I went to palaces of the highly respected monarchs like Ooni, Alaafin, Oluwo and Adimula Ifewara whom coopted to link Pastor Adeboye to settle the two gladiators.
"But many people were misunderstanding me as if I was going to update the Governor for another thing. Many people did not know I was suing for peace and nothing more.
"I was calling for peace while some people was busy nailing me to the cross and saying i sat on the fence and not loyal to the party or to Mr Governor.
" All these were coming because i was standing for peace and to avoid been label as settling scores with Ogbeni or to be call ingrate.
" Till today, I remain sad because Aregbesola has allowed the issues to degenerated to this level and I am sad about it ", he stated.
